31 Day Journal: Day 31 The END, what’s next?
Here we are! Half a year later since I started this journal challenge, I finally got to the end of it. Phew!
Naturally, it’s very satisfying to have reached the end. Typing away these day-to-day blog posts allowed moments of self reflection (a bit like those old LiveJournal days, with much less flapping, fanboyish and spazmo words thrown in). Thankfully, most of the things were very easy topics to talk about. Day 4 (Buy Less from Amazon) highlighted a huge problem for me, but I’m proud to say that to this day, I’ve kept it under reasonable control. I haven’t spent a great deal on Amazon since that post. Just a couple of small items like my yellow case for my Xperia Z1 Compact phone, some equine brushes and a usb charger for my car.
A huge shout out to my friend Ben, who’s also done this 31 Days Journal Challenge. We’ve spurred each other on at times of idleness and despite all the practical inconvenience he’s had, he’s managed to near the end of his challenge. (Still finished before him, ha! 😛 )
So, what’s next?
This blog continues to be a repository of whatever stuff I get to write, mostly my adventures here and there. I still have a backlog of Phase 1 Basic Training posts to do (4 more posts) and InterRail 2011 videos to sort out.
I’m off to Denmark in the 2nd week of September. I’ll be taking with me a trumpet and a horse, so stay tuned on Twitter, if not this blog for more details.
In addition, I’m thinking of starting a reviews section, mostly of restaurants, things to do here in Windsor and London and little bits and pieces of kit I have lying around. I seem to get a lot of friends visiting London from all sorts of places and maybe they’ll find those posts useful.
And, there you have it. Thanks for reading and if there’s anything you’d like me to talk about, do feel free to comment.
